“Orao” Booth Among the Most Visited at the First Employment Fair
The booth of Bijeljina-based company “Orao” was among the most visited at the first Employment Fair organized by the Faculty of Business Economics in Bijeljina, aimed at connecting students with companies and institutions operating across various segments of the economic and financial sector, stated Dijana Drakul, Head of the Department for Organization and Business Improvement at “Orao”.
She noted that some former students of the Faculty of Business Economics are now employed at “Orao”, and that the Employment Fair was an excellent opportunity to share experiences with both senior-year students and younger attendees.
“There was significant interest among students in ‘Orao’, particularly regarding the possibility of completing internships within our company in the future. We have various departments that may be of interest to students of the Faculty of Business Economics—finance, commercial operations, organization, IT, and marketing. What matters most is that they have a clear goal and vision of the field they wish to pursue, while at ‘Orao’ experienced colleagues are always ready to support them through knowledge sharing,” Drakul emphasized.
Vojislav Mirković, Head of the Department for Information Systems and Application Support at “Orao”, is a former student of the Faculty of Business Economics and expressed his satisfaction at having the opportunity to share his experience with students during the Employment Fair.
“As a fourth-year student, I came to ‘Orao’ for an internship, and that experience proved extremely valuable, as I secured permanent employment with the company in 2023. Regardless of where they choose to work, my message to students is that internships are highly important, as this is where the most valuable learning takes place,” Mirković highlighted.
By organizing the Employment Fair, the Faculty of Business Economics in Bijeljina aims to provide students with the opportunity to directly meet representatives of companies, banks, insurance firms, and other organizations and institutions where many of its graduates are already successfully employed.
In recent years, “Orao” a.d. Bijeljina has provided numerous graduates with the opportunity to complete internships within the company, offering the most successful candidates the possibility of full-time employment.
